An expert draws comparison between ‘Beatles’ rise and Taylor Swift’s superstardom
Taylor Swift’s Success Draws Comparisons to Beatles’ Phenomenon. Taylor Swift has reportedly broken many stereotypes with her success.
In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Kevin Ever, author of the book, There’s Nothing Like This: The Strategic Genius of Taylor Swift, explained how Taylor Swift has managed to break stereotypes with her creative genius.

He began by saying, “When I sat down to write this book, I was just trying to disprove that incident. But the more I wrote it, the more I realized that Taylor has done a lot of things that are very specific to the fact that she’s a woman.”
Kevin added, “And historically, artists who have a majority of female fans haven’t necessarily been taken seriously.”

Even when the Beatles started out, Beatlemania wasn’t a term of endearment. Mania is in the word. It seems like these very passionate female fans aren’t serious, right? “They’re driven by emotion and not by listening to things that have great artistic value, which is complete BS,” the author continued.
Kevin further addressed, “And in Taylor’s early rise in country music, she had a lot of skeptics. The gatekeepers of country music didn’t think there was a real audience for teenagers, especially teenage girls – and she broke that stereotype.”
Finally, the author emphasized Taylor Swift’s visionary approach and determination, saying, “I don’t think we’d be sitting here today if she didn’t have such a clear vision of what she wanted to do and she was so strong about her desire to write her own songs.”
