‘Ready or Not: Here I Come’ directors confirm filming is in underway
‘Ready or Not: Here I Come’ Sequel Reveals New Cast Lineup. Ready or Not: Here I Come has revealed the names of its new cast members.
Sarah Michelle Gellar, best known for her role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The Lord of the Rings alum Elijah Wood recently joined the cast of the darkly comedic thriller.
Earlier, directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett shared that they are excited to film the Ready or Not sequel with former team members, including Samara Weaving, who played the lead role in the original film, Andrew Stern as production designer, and costume designer, Every Pleasure.
“I am thrilled to be working with this incredibly talented cast and the incredible artists from all walks of life who are joining the ‘Ready or Not’ family,” he said, according to Variety.
However, the film’s release date has not been announced yet, although filming is currently underway.
Meanwhile, Searchlight Pictures President, Matthew Greenfield, also spoke about it, and said before signing off, “We’re going to go on another ride with the amazing Samara Weaving, mix in some great new voices, and bring audiences a new take that’s just as twisted and fun as the first one. This is for the people who have been waiting for it, and watching.”
