Rakhi Sawant is an actress who worked in many films and is a known figure as a television talk show host. She has worked in regional languages like Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Telugu, and Tamil. She was born on 25 November 1978 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Her father worked as a constable in the Mumbai Police. She had studied at the Mithibai College in Vile Parle, Mumbai. Her family background is a Maharashtrian Hindu Family. Her original name is Neeru Bheda. Her father did not endorse Bollywood and its culture. He was unhappy when Rakhi entered the Indian Cinema. She debuted on a famous show called Bigg Boss season-1 as a contestant. It is a very popular Indian reality show. She was also a finalist in the Bigg Boss-14 in 2020. She started her career in 1997. Sawant used to get smaller roles in the films at the beginning. She appeared in her first film called Agnichakra under the banner of Ruhi Sawant. Sawant fame rose when Director Suneel Darshan cast Rakhi in an item songs film called Jhoru Ka Ghulam. Her opposite in that song was famous and legendary actor Govinda. Rakhi Sawant made its intention to fight the Lok Sabha Poll in 2014. She decided to fight the polls from the Mumbai seat as an independent candidate. She made her Party called Rashtriya Aam Party (R.A.P.). Election Commission had not given any symbol to the Rakhi’s political Party. She desired to have a party symbol as ‘green chili’. She said that it matched her personality. Her party members included hoteliers and restaurateurs. During her campaign for the LokSabha, people were amused to see when Rakhi pitched for Green Chilly as an election symbol from the election commission.
