Paris Hilton Advocates for Old-Fashioned Upbringing for Her Kids
Paris Hilton adamant to keep children ‘away’ from social media; Here’s why. Paris Hilton, the renowned reality TV star, shared her perspective on motherhood during Propper Daley’s fourth annual A Day of Unreasonable Conversation in Los Angeles, where surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy hosted a panel called “To Suffer Alone.”
Expressing her intentions for parenting, the 43-year-old celebrity revealed her desire to raise her children away from the pervasive influence of social media.
“I just want my children to feel just so loved and seen and want to be that next generation of someone that brings positivity to the world and just to have big hearts and big loving,” Hilton articulated.
The Simple Life alum, who is a mother to son Phoenix and daughter London with husband Carter Reum, stressed the importance of instilling values of compassion and empathy in her children, emphasizing the significance of living a life beyond the realms of social media.
“That’s something that’s really important to me. And also to live a world outside of social media and being on their phone all the time,” she continued.
Hilton expressed concern over the diminishing trend of outdoor play among children due to excessive screen time, highlighting her hope that her own kids would not succumb to the addictive nature of social media.

“So I feel that’s really taken a lot from children. Kids are not going outside anymore and playing as much because everyone’s just so busy on their phones. So hopefully my kids won’t be as addicted to social media as I am,” she concluded.
Paris Hilton’s advocacy for a more traditional upbringing for her children reflects her commitment to nurturing a generation grounded in values of love, empathy, and genuine human connection.
