“It’s a custom Thom Browne, [and] it’s my creation. It’s an Easter egg thing,” Lorde told Emma, adding, “More to come.”

She continued, “I just love the open back. It really represents where I am, gender-wise. I love it. I feel like a man and a woman, you know?”
The Ribs hitmaker’s statement echoes a previous interview she gave to the documentary magazine, where she told Martine Sims how her song What Was That connected to her “gender expansiveness.”
“Being single, but really starting to face things about my body, and feeling my gender expand a little bit. Just coming back to my house and feeling this big wave of sadness. I just kept thinking, what was all this about?” she recalled.
