Lady Gaga Hit by Major Setback During 2025 Coachella Performance. Lady Gaga just dealt with some major technical issues at Coachella 2025.
As the 39-year-old pop star began her performance at the two-week-long music festival, her microphone suddenly malfunctioned.
The glitch was so bad that it threatened to disrupt her headlining set in front of thousands of fans at Coachella.
According to the Daily Mail, Gaga was able to be suspended high above the stage in a structure designed to look like a dress, but she had to wait to get a replacement mic.

After opening her set with the track Bloody Mary, the Born This Way hitmaker also showed off new material, such as performing a live version of her latest song Abracadabra, from her latest album Mayhem.
But the performance was thrown into disarray when the singer’s headset microphone started to buzz and although the Bad Romance hitmaker got it working again after tweaking it, the cackling increased and her voice was cut off for long stretches of the show.
This came as Lady Gaga was enjoying success with the track, Die With A Smile, a collaboration with Bruno Mars, which not only won a Grammy Award but also spent a sixteenth week as the number one song on the Billboard Global 200.
