The 38-year-old TikTok hitmaker explained that her songs were a major reason for the split, saying they made it clear.
“Basically, I think writing songs takes me to my truth,” she began in her interview.

“I was engaged and I didn’t want to be anymore and I didn’t even know I was going to break up with him until I wrote a song about him, and then I heard it again, and I was like, ‘Oh, no, I’m going to break up with him now,’” the award-winning singer revealed, without revealing the identity of her ex-fiancé.
She continued, “It led me to my truth ’cause I can’t lie in a song. You can’t lie in a song. Aw, your song’s gonna suck, but it’s not even for her, you know?”
Kesha has previously been romantically linked to Brad Ashenfelter, Michael Guillory, and Ricardo Medaloso.
