Taylor Swift and Kelsea Ballerini first collaborated for ‘1989 World Tour’ in September, 2015
Kelsea Ballerini Shares Taylor Swift’s Career Changing Support. Kelsea Ballerini has spoken out about the career-changing collaboration she received from Taylor Swift.
In an interview with Us Weekly, the Cowboys Cry Too singer opened up about Swift’s praise of her song.
“I think a big reason why things have worked out the way they have is because of the women who have given me advice that I shouldn’t just pass by,” she said.
The five-time Grammy Award nominee noted, “Women who have taken the time to stop and turn and reach out and share their stage with me and other new artists.”
It’s worth noting that in 2015, Swift praised Ballerini’s songs from her debut album, The First Time, on her X account, formerly known as Twitter.

“Driving with [Kelsea Ballerini] EP on repeat.. so cute :),” the Blank Space singer captioned it, along with the hashtags, Love Me Like You Mean It, and Yeah Boy.
Before concluding, Ballerini shared, “This has been a part of my journey, and it started with Taylor. When she tweeted about ‘Love Me Like You Mean It’ before it hit the top 40 on radio, it changed my life.”

For the uninitiated, the pair first collaborated on the song Love Me Like You Mean It in September 2015 for Swift’s 1989 World Tour.
