Joe Jonas explained the growth he experienced while making his second album
Joe Jonas Expresses Confidence in Upcoming Second Album. Joe Jonas just revealed his confidence in his second solo album.
The Jonas Brothers icon revealed that he had a lot of input from a lot of people for his 2011 debut solo album, Fast Life.
However, with his latest work, Music for People Who Believe in Love, he’s more of a self-directed act.
Speaking to Billboard, the Gotta Find You singer said, “It’s been a minute since I’ve released anything (solo).”
Joe continued, “The last album I did on my own, I’m so proud. There were a lot of cooks in the kitchen at that point in my life. I was surrounded by so many people that I just said, ‘Yeah, and.’”

“Now, knowing who I am, feeling confident, and looking at my life, I’m so grateful for the friends and family around me… I didn’t selfishly want to share that with other people. It needed to come from my voice, specifically,” the 35-year-old singer and actor added.
The This Is Me hitmaker, who split from his wife Sophie Turner in 2023, also said the music he’s making is “very personal,” using the songs creatively to “speak to what I’ve been through.”
Music for People Who Believe in Love, which will feature tracks from Work It Out, Heart by Heart and What This Could Be, is set to be released on May 23.
