Alec Baldwin Shares Unexpected Changes in his Parenting Approach. Alec Baldwin, a father of eight, has shared some surprising information about his parenting style and the changes he’s made.
On a recent episode of The Baldwins, he opened up about how he wants to spend time with his kids.
“I don’t want to be anything. I just want to be a father to my kids,” the Baby Boss actor said.
“Everything has changed, think about when you’re his age and you have kids, and you get older, you get tougher. And for me, as I get older… I don’t want to get tougher,” Baldwin noted.
“I just want to look and see what I’ve got to experience in the years that I’ve had and it’s not about me. These kids are going to be around,” he continued.
“And they’re going to be ready to go to college, and I’m going to be old, old. I’m going to be 15 years old from now, 14 years from now, I’m going to be 80.”
“I try not to think about it. I need more time with my kids, you know?” the 67-year-old actor concluded.
